A schedule sidebar that's never out of sight

**Beginning this Friday your schedule will now show an always-visible sidebar as you scroll. Inside you'll find your Waitlist, Canceled, and Deleted appointments. **

If you’ve ever had to hunt around your page to see whether the waitlist was on the side or below your schedule depending on the size of your screen, that’s exactly what we’re fixing. The schedule now scrolls within its own container instead of the whole page sliding left and right, so the sidebar stays beside it no matter how full your schedule gets. Everything you act on all day now lives one glance away, so filling a gap in your schedule or reworking the day takes a click instead of a scroll-and-search. Nothing you rely on has gone away, it’s all in the same place, just always in view.

Here's a more detailed look at what's changing:

1. As you scroll, your schedule and the new sidebar will stick to the top of your screen, giving you the ability to quickly scroll in any direction on your schedule
2. The sidebar will include a tab for your waitlist, canceled appointments for the day, and deleted appointments. A settings tab will give you quick access to your legend and other cards that were on the schedule.
3. When editing your appointment types they'll now load in a pop-up with more room to make the changes you need.
4. You can set the priority of your waitlist by dragging and dropping appointments within the list
5. The waitlist now includes more details from your underlying waitlist notes, making them easier to see and prioritize.

We're laying the groundwork for something much bigger

If you've ever wished you could select an appointment from the waitlist to fill a canceled appointment slot, you're in luck. We have our sights set on turning a cancellation into a filled slot in seconds, so fewer openings go to waste and more patients get seen. It’s the first of several updates rolling out over the next few weeks.

Updated Visit Details A richer view when you click into an appointment, bringing more of what your team needs right when a patient steps into the room with one-click status updates for appointments.

Waitlist Recommendations When clicking to cancel an appointment you'll get the top recommendations from your waitlist with the contact information for the patient so open slots don’t stay open.
