Product Update

Medicare Replacement Plan Updates & More

Jun 20, 2025

I’m excited to share a few new improvements designed to help your practice reduce denials, increase visibility, and (optionally) improve documentation compliance.

Medicare Replacement Plans

When adding a new policy to a patient case, you’ll now be asked if it’s a Medicare Replacement Plan. Capturing this upfront helps prevent missed flags during benefit verification—reducing costly mistakes and downstream denials.

Improved Document Signature Compliance

🎉 Available Now in Early Access

We’ve made two changes to support better documentation compliance:

  • No more auto-filled signatures from prior notes - clinicians must explicitly sign each note.
  • Only clinicians whose signatures are present on a note may complete the note.

These changes help prevent notes from being mistakenly submitted under the wrong name and support audit-readiness for your practice.

Other Improvements

  • Charge Advice Totals - When entering charge advice, you’ll now see a Total row summarizing units, billed amount, and minutes.
  • Duplicate CPT Warning - A new warning appears if the same CPT code is entered twice—unless one entry is from an assistant and the other from a primary therapist.
  • Referral Source Fix - Adding a new referral or campaign source from a case no longer triggers an error - so you can give credit where it’s due.
  • Improved Ticket Navigation - Switching between support tickets in your inbox now updates browser history, so you can use forward/back buttons to navigate between them.
  • Dashboard Task Fix - Fixed an issue where “Pending Signature” task links on the dashboard didn’t always work.
  • Payment Detail Report - Added a new column showing unapplied balances—especially useful during EMR transitions to identify unposted payments.

Thank you to everyone who continues to share feedback via our Feedback Portal and to those testing new features in Early Access. Your input helps us move faster and build smarter.
