Featured: Referral Management
Bob gave the Referral Management list a fresh look, the first stop on a bigger home refresh tour across StrataEMR. The list now features modern table styling, fast filtering to locate referrals quickly, and a customizable column selector so your team can pin and rearrange what matters most. Clicking into a referral will bring up the familiar modal experience, with a refresh coming at a later time, a gentle first step towards a better experience and not a jump scare into unfamiliarity.
For Your Front Desk Team
Synced Authorization Dates - Ben reinforced how authorization documents appear in Stored Documents. Dates now pull directly from the authorization, keeping document dates automatically synced even if edits happen later.
High-Visibility Patient Balances - Thom turned up the volume on patient balances in the case sidebar. The text is larger, and outstanding balances feature an eye-catching orange tint the moment you open a chart.
Patient Status Color Indicators - Thom also added active status indicators to patient search results on the Faxing page, letting you spot who is active (green), a referral (orange), or inactive (red) before you click.
Refund Processing Safeguard - Tyler added a safeguard to the refund screen to prevent accidental double refunds caused by page refreshes or quick double-clicks.
For Your Clinical Team
Discipline-Specific Charge Code Filtering - Ann added a smart filter to the charge advice table. When documenting on a case, you'll now see only the charge codes relevant to your discipline, letting other disciplines' codes politely step out of the way.
October 1st ICD-10 Code Updates - Elise updated StrataEMR with the October 1st ICD-10 code set, keeping diagnosis codes perfectly aligned with the new fiscal year.
Accurate Split-Unit Minute Totals - Elise refined how minutes are summed when charges are split into units, ensuring totals line up cleanly with charge advice.
