In this release, we’ve introduced new data-loss protections for clinical documents and streamlined the relationship between appointments and tasks. We’ve also refined document requirements and laid further groundwork for the upcoming Mako AI Scribe integration.
Internal - To prepare for the future release of Mako AI Scribe, we’ve added a Smart SOAP note to our default templates. This will be available with the larger release.
StrataEMR - When opening a clinical document, StrataEMR now notifies you that you have unsaved changes if you leave the page or refresh before saving the clinical document.
StrataEMR - Deleting an appointment from the schedule now automatically clears the missing document task. A new missing document task will be created if the appointment is moved to a new date and documentation is missed.
StrataEMR - We’ve updated our advice for Tricare East/West in regards to the fact that CPT 97032 is not reimbursable with this payer.
Internal - We’ve improved how Mako automatically classifies specific payment tickets, allowing them to route into a more specific support queue for actioning.
StrataEMR - We’ve removed an unused option in the staff status dropdown when editing a user. Staff can now be set only as Active or Inactive.
StrataEMR - In some cases, non-clinical documents without charge advice were requiring diagnosis codes to exist on a case in order to be completed. We’ve corrected this, so that these notes can be sent in instances where they are part of a request for more details like a diagnosis.
StrataEMR - Previously, a clinical document needed to be saved before text editing mode could be used to edit formatting. This has been corrected, allowing clinicians to use this feature during the initial opening of the document as needed.
StrataEMR - When clicking a task on the dashboard that isn't assigned to a user it was not shown on the Task Management page we brought you to. You can now see the tasks expected when clicking that link.
See you on the next update!
