We’re continuing to build on our mission to make StrataEMR the most reliable, intuitive, and efficient EMR and billing platform for therapy practices. Over the past few weeks, our team has released several product improvements focused on automation, documentation accuracy, and workflow speed. Below you’ll find the details of what’s new, improved, and fixed across StrataEMR and StrataPT.
StrataEMR - When creating a new support ticket, the Visible To field is now located next to the subject of your ticket with an improved grouping of options and will default to being visible to the person who created the ticket unless otherwise selected.
StrataEMR - We fixed who the Weekly Email Summary was sent from and updated the subject line to include the date the summary was generated.
StrataEMR - When the start time of an appointment passes and the status of the appointment is not set to “Cancelled” or “No-Show”, a “Missing Document” task will be created for the clinician assigned to the appointment if a document has not yet been created. This will automatically be completed replaced with the standard “Draft Document” task when a new document is created and mark the appointment as “In Progress”
StrataEMR - The following Pelvic Floor ICD 10 diagnostic codes can now be selected from a case
Internal - When you send an EOB to StrataPT, the EOB is now automatically attached to the case’s additional documents once it’s been posted instead of being manually uploaded to each case by our team.
StrataEMR - Automatic Policy Validation will now show a warning and allow documents to be completed when an address, state, or zip code issue is identified when validating a policy.
StrataEMR - Automatic Policy Validation will now distinguish between the patient name and the insured party name validating the policy.
StrataEMR - Automatic Policy Validation now supports Patient Suffixes when validating the policy.
StrataEMR - When creating a document and changing the date of service, the task for that document may not have been removed as expected.
StrataEMR - In rare cases, a clinical document could be submitted with charges and later deleted by a user when a draft amended copy existed. We’ve made sure this can’t happen and repaired the document(s) in question.
StrataEMR - Earlier this week we identified and fixed an issue that prevented our Early Access customers from using the features they’re testing and providing early feedback on.
StrataEMR - Medicare Claims impacted by the government shutdown will include a include a new ledger transaction when delayed due to the shutdown.
StrataEMR - We improved our internal logging to track where and when clinical documents were moved
StrataEMR - To prepare for a future product improvement, Automatic Policy Validation will also check the policy’s CoPay, CoInsurance, Deductible, and if an Authorization is required. This information will be visible at a later time if a Policy Error is identified.
**Internal **- We’ve updated the internal default ERA status to streamline enrollments for all new customers switching to StrataEMR from another provider.
**Internal **- To improve our response time, we’ve updated how we route and manage incoming support tickets for all customers.
Internal - We’ve fixed an issue for our team where re-billing claims for customers our team occasionally failed to re-bill as expected.
See you on the next update!
