A smooth road trip isn't just about having a great engine; it comes down to clear highway signs, flexible cruise control, and direct exit lanes that don't force you into unnecessary detours. When every control on your dashboard responds the way you expect, you can just sit back and enjoy the drive.
Today's release is all about smooth cruising. Progress note timing now bends to fit different payer requirements, you can fax non-clinical documents straight from a case without the extra task, flat rates show up right where you need them, and we rebuilt a key stretch of Mako’s road to keep your data moving.
The Dashboard. Custom cruise control and clear signposts for your daily drive.
Custom Progress Note Intervals - David gave our progress note reminders some additional flexibility. Instead of a fixed 10-day cadence for everyone, clinics can now set custom day intervals to match a specific payer’s requirements. Need a custom interval set up? Just send us a support ticket with the details.
Direct Faxing from Stored Documents - Bob added the option to send a fax directly from a case’s Stored Documents page. Since you usually don’t need a follow-up here, the task option defaults to “no task” when you fax from this view.
Upfront Payer Flat Rates - Thom surfaced payer flat rates where you need to see them - the Insurance Settings page for admins, and the case’s Benefits screen for a specific policy. If a claim reimburses at a flat rate, your team will see it clearly.
The Road Crew. Rebuilding sturdier bridges to keep data traffic flowing.
Rebuilt Mako Data Fetching - David rebuilt one of Mako’s data-pulling tools after a change on the source side broke the original connection. It’s fully back up and running on sturdier infrastructure.
See you on the next update!
