If you've ever watched a relay race, you know the medals are usually won or lost in the handoff, not the sprint. This release is full of better handoffs: from the visit to the signed EVV, and from the EVV to the charge. Fewer dropped batons, smoother exchanges, same great runners.
Here's what moved with last night’s release.
Option to Require EVV Validation Before Note Completion - Elise built an opt-in setting that requires a completed EVV for the same date of service before a note with charge advice can be finalized. It’s off by default. When a clinic requests to turn it on, any missing EVV triggers a red warning above the note with a direct link to create one or open an existing draft. Mobile teams stay compliant without relying on memory.
Updated Mobile EVV Navigation - Elise updated the EVV button on the Mobile Schedule to route directly to the refreshed Patient Engagement page instead of an older legacy view, creating a consistent experience for clinicians in the field.
Restored Staff Password Management - Thom fixed an issue where administrators were temporarily unable to set new passwords for staff members, restoring admins' ability to update passwords for their team.
Clean Ticket Message Formatting - Elise cleaned up how bulleted lists and email addresses render in StrataEMR tickets, ensuring our team's responses read cleanly exactly as written.
Some of this release’s work happens behind the scenes, quietly keeping the shoelaces tied or laying groundwork for a future release.
Automated Portal Actions - David expanded our automated actions to a new payer portal to streamline manual lookups. He also reinforced scheduled background jobs to ensure these new tasks load correctly and finish cleanly every time.
Clinic Staff Search by Email - Rayyan upgraded our internal clinic staff lookup tool by adding the ability to search directly by email address.
Accurate Dashboard Assignment Views - Thom refined how our team dashboards display assignments, so items owned by teams without a dedicated dashboard tab no longer appear as "unassigned."
Synchronized EOB Automation Timeline - Jadon spotted an overlap between automated background jobs and manual work, and David adjusted the timing so automations no longer run ahead of human work, preventing duplicate EOB uploads.
