Auto-Default Home Place of Service - Thom improved facility setup rules for home-based care. When a facility is configured with the "Default Place of Service to Home" rule, selecting that facility on a new case’s Demographics page automatically sets the POS field to Home, saving your team repetitive reps on every single patient setup.
BCBS Insured Party Validation Fix - Elise resolved a birth date validation issue for insured party members on BCBS policies. Patients covered under someone else's policy now pass validation cleanly without triggering false alarms.
RTM Compliance Spotter - Elise built new clinician safeguards for Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) billing. StrataEMR now spots clinicians on tricky timing rules between setup, device, and treatment management codes, including required 30-day spacing between device codes, ensuring heavy claims go out cleanly the first time.
W2 vs. 1099 Staff Categorization - Ann added an Employment Type field to staff setup, allowing practices to mark each team member as W2 or 1099. This paves the way for more detailed staffing reports for clinics with mixed teams.
Consistent Message Deadline Badges - Ann standardized the "Response Required By" badges in Messages. High-priority items due soon still pop in yellow, while tasks further out receive a clean gray tag, making your inbox easy to scan at a glance.
Detailed Schedule Insight Drill-Downs - Rayyan enhanced the Organization Insights report. Clicking the magnifying glass in Schedule Insights now reveals the assigned clinician, visit type, and visit status, so you can answer "who, what, and how did it land" without leaving the report.
Clean Analytics Period Alignment - Ann re-aligned Total Billed Visits and Total Billed Units in Practice Analytics to compare only full, completed service periods, keeping your trend lines clean and accurate without partial-data noise.

Automated Retro Auth Notices - Thom made the retroactive authorizations workflow easier. Marking a task as "Retro Auth Obtained" now automatically generates a follow-up item for our billing team, moving claims toward payout without extra handoffs.
