Today’s update furthers our shift from system observation to strategic system action. We’re continuing to teach Mako AI to step in and handle the "small stuff," like correcting name spellings during eligibility checks or resetting scribed documents to ensure they’re properly validated, so your team can stay focused on the high-level work that only humans can do. Think of it as a vigilant co-pilot that handles the telemetry while you fly the plane.

StrataEMR - Elise has leveled up Mako’s patient name validation. In the past, validation flagged spelling discrepancies, but left the work up to the clinic. Now, like a co-pilot updating the manifest, Mako automatically flags and sets the override with the suggested spelling from the eligibility data. It’s one less manual correction and one more win for a clean flight path.
StrataEMR - Antonio added the ICD-10 code G12.1 (Other inherited spinal muscular atrophy) to the case selection library to ensure more accurate diagnostic documentation.

StrataEMR - Ben pushed another round of site-wide optimizations to ensure StrataEMR remains responsive and fast, no matter how much "cargo" your practice is carrying.
Internal - David added a new intelligence layer to inbound EOB work. Mako now performs a deep pre-flight check to see if a payment has already been posted. If the work is done, Mako clears the work from the queue before our team even has to look at it, keeping the radio chatter of unnecessary tasks to a minimum.
Internal - To help StrataPT support you with more velocity, Thom added a team column to all internal analysis reports. We can now filter and slice data by specific teams to identify and resolve trends before they impact your practice.
Internal - Thom refined how Timely Filing periods are saved in some specific multi-payer scenarios. This ensures your arrival windows for these claims are captured correctly, further closing the door on denials caused by missing the filing deadline.
Internal - Ben improved Mako AI’s prompts for insurance update actions. These prompts are now more context-aware, triggering only when human touch is actually required.

StrataEMR - To ensure a safe landing for every document, David re-aligned the Mako AI Scribe status logic. If a clinician has already set the note to Complete before the recording is processed, the system pushes back on the controls and resets the document to Draft. This ensures that manual validations still occur, keeping the scribe work accurate and the clinician’s final sign-off meaningful.
