When you tumble out of bed and head into the clinic, the goal is to pour yourself a cup of ambition and get right to caring for your patients. You shouldn't have to spend your day wrestling with unnecessary system tasks, hunting down missing data, or opening a second support ticket just to attach a file.
This Wednesday, we're making sure your software doesn't stand in the way. We’re clearing out unnecessary referral tasks, giving you file uploads right from the start, and making sure our internal tools automatically remember familiar senders the moment they say, "Here you come again."
The 9 to 5. Front-line tools built to make your daily living a little easier.
Ticket File Attachments - Elise set support ticket responses to include file uploads as a default option along with your text. You can now attach documents on the first try instead of needing to open a new ticket just to send a file.
Ticket Closure Timing - Addie noticed that Mako was occasionally closing out ticket threads a little too eagerly. Elise updated the workflow so that threads stay open until the conversation is completely finished, ensuring no details are missed before parting ways.
Preventing Unnecessary Tasks - Elise smoothed out the fax creation workflow for Direct Access referrals. Previously, the system was creating a fax task even when there was no referring provider to send it to. Those unnecessary tasks will no longer generate, leaving you with a clear blue morning in your task queue.
Authorization Payer Names - Ben resolved a gap in the Authorization Overview Report where the payer name was failing to populate for cases with a current authorization on file. The data now displays accurately exactly where you need it.
Aligned Charge Advice - Ben also re-aligned the totals row on the charge advice screen so it sits under the correct columns instead of drifting one space over.
The internal islands in the stream. Connecting systems and keeping data flowing.
Incoming Document Payer Matching - David built a smarter payer-matching engine for incoming documents. When a bulk transaction flows in from a familiar sender, Mako connects the dots and recalls the payer match automatically, saving our team a few clicks every time data comes down the stream.
Preventing NPI Collisions - Ben tightened up claim submission logic to better resolve attending and referring NPI value collisions before they ever reach the payer, keeping claims from being denied, pure and simple.
Visible Submission Types - Thom improved claim submission type visibility on the internal policy screen. Our RCM team can now easily confirm whether a policy needs to route as Professional or Institutional without having to leave the page, keeping their workflow moving seamlessly.
Know that you do cross our minds, every single update. See you on the next one!
