Product Update

What’s New - February 17th, 2026

Feb 18, 2026

The feedback from last week’s big case header and sidebar release was fantastic, but as anyone who has ever moved into a new house knows, sometimes you spend the first few days wondering where you put the toaster. This week, Thom tracked down the "toaster" (also known as the patient balance alert) and put it back in its rightful place at the top of your sidebar.

Meanwhile, Elise has been busy ensuring your Clarity Panel continues to be your trusted resource for viewing claims, and David is teaching the Mako AI Scribe that just because a note is cloned doesn't mean it has to be haunted by its predecessor's recordings. We’ve also fully released the new Appointment Manager page that gives you visibility into a patient’s appointments and saves your mouse hand from unnecessary clicking fatigue when changes need to be made.

Mako AI Scribe (Early Access)

  • Improved - You caught that previously, when a note was cloned, the old Mako AI Scribe recording tagged along for the ride. David updated the logic so that cloned notes now start with a clean slate, allowing you to create a fresh recording for the new visit.

New

CleanShot 2026-02-18 at 09

  • StrataEMR - Clicking the calendar icon in the header now opens the dedicated Appointment Manager page that was previously in Early Access. You can see everything from the past and look ahead at the next 30 days. Most excitingly, you can now bulk delete upcoming appointments with a single click.

  • StrataEMR - We have an internal report that’s quickly becoming everyone’s best friend. Elise gave it an official new name today. We aren't ready to make formal introductions to our best friend just yet, but keep your eyes peeled - a public release is coming!

Fixed

  • StrataEMR - The patient balance alert wandered off when the new case header and sidebar went live last week. Thom found it and put it back in its rightful place at the top of the sidebar. Clicking this alert will take you directly to the Payments page.

  • StrataEMR - We know how important the Clarity Panel is as a source of truth, so when Elise found that some secondary claims were displaying the date sent instead of the date of service, she issued a fix quicker than you can say “837 file.” Rest assured, the claim dates were always correct, but now they look correct in the claim viewer too.

See you on the next update!
