Product Update

What’s New - February 19th, 2026

Feb 20, 2026

This week, we’re focusing on the fine art of "zooming in." Whether it’s Elise adding literal magnifying glasses to your Organization Insights Report or Thom making the text larger in the Mako AI Scribe so you don't have to squint after a long day of evals, we’re trying to make the important stuff impossible to miss.

Speaking of not missing things, Ben just shipped what we’re calling the biggest update to the Invoices Report in recent history—cleaner, more organized, and a separation of your current activity from your "Historical" archives. We also officially evicted 2025 from our Medicare Fee Calculator (thanks for the catch, Richie!) and made sure our Florida clinics aren't getting dinged by Medicaid for modifiers they won’t accept.

Mako AI Scribe (Early Access)

mako ai scribe

Thom has continued to improve the user experience of the Mako AI Scribe based on feedback from our Early Access users. Let’s break down what’s changed this week:

New - The AI Scribe received a fresh coat of paint - bringing it inline with the recent case updates and naming it. The text is larger and the actions you can take are clearer.

New - When you click to start a recording you’ll be reminded to make sure you have the consent of the patient to record. If so, clicking “continue” will start the recording.

New - You can now transfer your summary to your note once it’s been processed. All early access users now have access to Mako AI Scribe fragments for the Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan. When present in your document, you can transfer your summary into their respective sections in a snap.

Improved - The summary and transcription tabs received some visual updates to make things easier to read.

Improved - When the recording is processing you’ll see a clearer message letting you know what’s happening behind the scenes.

Improved

StrataEMR - Paul fixed an issue where 97, XU modifiers required by a primary payer but not accepted by Medicaid of Florida were causing denials. For our customers in Florida, we’ve got you covered.

StrataEMR - Elise added the ability to dig in deeper into the Schedule Insights in your Organization Insights Report. You’ll now see a magnifying glass next to certain boxes, helping you quickly find cases with pending documentation, cases with cancelled appointments, or cases that were a no-show from the date range selected.

StrataEMR - Ben delivered the biggest change in recent history to the StrataPT Invoices Report. Your invoice report will include a new section for all invoices after January 1st, 2026 that will show all invoice activity for your account, including any other invoices or changes outside the standard monthly billing period. All invoices prior to January 1st are grouped in the “Historical Invoices” section.

Internal - Paul continue to improve how we send out printed claims and statements for payers that can’t accept an electronic claim or require additional information.

Internal - David added some additional logging around authorizations, clinical documentation, and staff changes.

Fixed

Website - Richie caught that our Medicare Fee Calculator still had one mention of 2025. Elise nudged it into the new year.

StrataEMR - We were alerted that some support tickets weren’t visible in StrataEMR. Ben took a look into it and updated our ticket handling to make sure these tickets stay put.

See you on the next update!
