We’re starting the last week of February in a huge way. We’re bringing our Early Access features closer to general release and equipping our team with some new research and reporting superpowers.
Mako AI Scribe is finally swimming out of the deep. After months of stealthy testing in the "shark tank" of Early Access, it’s officially surfacing for everyone. You’ll see a new card in your clinical sidebar - think of it as a dorsal fin in the water, signaling that a faster way to document is circling. If you're ready to start focusing more on your patient and less on your screen, it’s time to jump in. Meanwhile Thom is taking the tedium out of manually creating schedule templates, a vital component of the Appointment Manager. If your Tuesday looks exactly like your Monday, you can now just... tell the system that. A few checkboxes later, and your week is built.
Internally we’re breaking out the capes and tights for updates like Ben’s new claim simulator (so we can spot potential denials before the payers do) and our improvements to reporting and working aging AR. And for those of you who were trying to find answers in our Knowledge Base only to realize the search bar was stubbornly refusing, Elise has encouraged it to be helpful once again.
New - After months of testing, Mako AI Scribe is ready to be spotted in the wild, as a card in the sidebar of your clinical documentation with an activation message for any account not currently using the feature. If you're already a StrataEMR customer, reach out to request access today.
Improved - When editing appointment types on your schedule, Thom updated the legend so that you can set which appointment types can be used within the new Appointment Manager.
Internal - To improve how our team works aging AR for our customers, Mariah and Elise have been testing a new way to route AR by age to the appropriate team.
Internal - Thanks to Ben, our RCM Success team can now simulate claim creation with Mako to ensure accounts are configured properly without waiting for a denial.
StrataEMR - Creating schedule templates just loads easier, thanks to Thom! If your schedule is consistent across days, you can now copy one day’s template to another day with the check of a box, meaning you no longer have to create each day of the week by hand.
Internal - Ben updated an internal report to improve how we track aging AR.
Internal - Paul improved how we work Medicare Part B claims when an account hits the KX benefit max.
StrataEMR - Ben fixed an issue where, when filtering the StrataPT invoice by facility, the facility’s contribution amount displayed was not updating for each facility.
StrataEMR - You may have noticed that the search function wasn’t working in the Knowledge Base. So did Summer and Elise. This has been corrected and you can now search for articles as expected.
StrataEMR - Elise has updated the Clarity Panel to display the NPI that was attached to historical claims.
See you on the next update!
