Software is a bit like Physical Therapy, sometimes you have to adjust your form to get the best results. This week, we saw that the new SSO button was causing some head-scratching, so David pulled it back for now. Meanwhile, Thom has been on a mission to reduce clinical friction, whether that’s updating Early Access features based on your feedback or making sure your dropdowns actually, well, drop down. Paul and David have also been spending time in the metaphorical engine room, handling the less visible work internal work that helps keep everything humming along.
Improved
StrataEMR - We previously released a single-sign-on button to our login page to prepare for an upcoming feature release. Unfortunately this caused more confusion than expected, so David has hidden it for now.
Early Access - When the new Case Sidebar is active, Thom set the Notifications tab to be active by default and make sure any critical items are shown on every page of the Case. All tasks for a case will be listed in the Tasks tab. (Note: the color of the item count in each tab will reflect the highest level of severity of the notification. Notifications in red will prevent visits from being billed until resolved)
Early Access - Thom also added the Case Type to the header of each Case, one of many steps we’re taking to make sure every practice, especially multidisciplinary ones, know which case is open for a patient.
Internal - Paul tested improvements to how StrataPT creates and sends physical paperwork via the mail when an electronic option isn’t available.
Internal - David moved the new Single-Sign-On (SSO) settings and API Key for identify providers from the Organization Setup page to a new External System Integrations page. This will allow third-party identity providers such as EntraID, Google Workspace, and others to create and disable staff.
Internal - Bret made improvements to our internal deployment pipelines to improve how we report on the deployment’s progress.
Fixed
StrataEMR - When viewing a case’s Task history and adding a new task directly to a case, the Task Type dropdown wasn’t loading in some cases. Thom has updated this field so that you can now select any available Type, Task Type, and Category of task from the dropdowns.
Internal - David fixed an issue where clicking to view details on our internal audit log page could cause an error on the page if it returned any empty items.
