When you’re behind the wheel of a car, you rely entirely on your dashboard instruments to tell you the truth. To drive confidently, you need to trust that what you see on the dashboard accurately reflects what is happening under the hood.
Today’s release reinforces that same type of dashboard trust across StrataEMR. We are calibrating our visual indicators so no one is left guessing, whether that’s verifying that sensitive staff data is safely saved, identifying why an old task was archived, or navigating a clear, guided road for claim denials from start to finish.
The view from the driver’s seat. Updates you’ll notice the moment you’re behind the wheel.
A Clear Road for Denial Tasks - Thom built a task type designed specifically for claim denials on visit- or benefit-max cases. This dedicated workflow comes fully equipped with clear action instructions, a "Settle" button, and automated routing when a follow-up message needs to be sent, giving your team a clear path to navigate this type of denial.
Visual Confirmation for Staff SSNs - Thom also upgraded the Social Security Number field in Staff Setup. Previously, the field would load blank even if an SSN had already been successfully saved. Now, it displays a secure, obfuscated placeholder, giving admins immediate visual proof that the data is securely in the system without exposing sensitive numbers.
Expired Task Transparency - Ben added a new indicator to the "Completed By" column on the patient task list. If a task is automatically cleared due to aging out, the system will now explicitly display "Automatic, Too Old," saving your team from wondering who manually checked it off.
Reopened Ticket Monitoring - Elise reinforced how conversation statuses are tracked when a clinic replies to an already-resolved support ticket. This logic ensures that the moment a conversation picks back up, the ticket status actively shifts, so no client messages end up quietly sitting in a resolved queue.
Clean Editor Formatting - Elise fixed a formatting issue where bulleted lists typed into the message box were saving and rendering as numbered lists. Bulleted points will now stay bulleted, keeping your written notes perfectly formatted.
Under the hood. Engine work you won’t see, but you’ll feel in every mile.
Seamless Patient Responsibility Flow - Elise resolved an issue where Patient Responsibility details entered by our team into an internal processing box failed to carry over to the charge screen. With the block cleared, the information now flows smoothly to the charge screen and extra alerts are avoided.
See you on the next update!
