Meanwhile, David is in the engine room building a better way for you to automatically fill in data on your documents so you can stop the repeated manual entry of information you know is available on a patient’s case. We’re also giving Ben a hearty high five for building a new denials radar that helps our team spot payer trends before they become a headache for your front office.
StrataEMR - Dante added a new payer rule to prevent a common coding error. Specifically, the system will now prevent you from reporting any code from the M54.1 series (Radiculopathy) alongside the M47.2 series (Other spondylosis with radiculopathy). Since M47.2 already includes the concept of radiculopathy, billing both is considered redundant, like wearing a belt and suspenders.
Internal - Ben built a powerful new internal tool that allows our RCM Success team to analyze and act on denial trends with surgical precision. It’s the kind of behind the scenes magic that helps us fight for your reimbursements more effectively.
Internal - David is currently laying the groundwork for a glow-up to our data lookup fields. In the near future, it’s going to be much easier to see which lookups are available and snap them into your document templates without the guesswork.
