This release is about the exact opposite of distress, it’s about a perfect hand-off. Behind the scenes of every successful clinic is a complex relay race. This week, we’ve focused on the "choreography" of that race—ensuring Mako gets a head start before our team takes the baton, empowering clinicians to complete tasks, and ensuring Medicaid claims are measured with surgical precision. We’re cleaning up the transitions so that by the time any work reaches a human, the path is already cleared.
StrataEMR - Thom updated Draft Document tasks for clinical notes that don't have charge advice. If a clinician intentionally completes a billable document without charges, the task can now be manually completed, keeping your task list clean and relevant.
Internal - David has expanded Mako AI’s document classification to handle image-based documents alongside standard PDFs. Whether it’s a scan or a photo, Mako can surface a wider range of formats correctly for staff review.
Internal - Elise made further refinements the logic governing our business rules. By ensuring they only fire when their specific attributes are perfectly matched, we continue to give our billing rules the surgical precision they were designed for.
Internal - David improved the timing of our internal workflows. The system now automatically holds new items in the background until Mako AI has finished its initial processing. This means our team only sees what is 100% ready for human review, giving Mako the "head start" it needs to work its magic without any manual coordination required.
StrataEMR - Ben restored full functionality to refund tasks. The available amount now correctly populates, allowing your team to process refunds with the predictable flow they expect.
Internal - Paul resolved a unit conversion hurdle for a specific Medicaid payer. Claims were defaulting to bill a single unit instead of applying the appropriate 15-minute increment rule. He’s re-aligned the configuration to match exactly what the payer expects, closing the door on an unexpected amount billed.
Internal - Elise resolved a subtle sync issue in one of our internal AR Reports. Previously, charges caught in a payer retraction cycle could occasionally disappear from the All view. We’ve brought those charges back into the light, ensuring RCM staff can see and act on every single dollar without needing a database deep-dive.
Internal - Elise resolved a behavior in our internal billing portal where document attachments weren't consistently transmitting. Now, when a document is attached to a request, it’s guaranteed to reach its destination.
