That is the philosophy behind today's release as well. Making software better doesn’t always mean building a shiny new feature, sometimes it’s about chipping away the digital marble that doesn’t need to be there in the first place. We’ve spent the second half of this week trimming out redundant background steps, removing legacy options, and smoothing out data mismatches. We're clearing out the extra stone so the core platform can run as cleanly and efficiently as possible.

Polishing the Foundation - The team spent the week focused on internal optimization and background refinements. While StrataEMR looks the same today, we were working behind the scenes, removing some rough edges to keep things smooth and responsive for the week ahead.
The engine room. Internal improvements you won’t see on your screen, but you’ll certainly feel the impact of.
Improved - Thom cleared an obsolete checkbox out of our internal payer setup screen that belonged to an old process no longer in use. Stripping away these legacy options keeps our internal workspace clean, intuitive, and clutter-free.
Improved - Ben removed an unnecessary background system call. By eliminating this extra step, we’re continuing to ensure StrataEMR moves with pure, uninhibited efficiency.
Fixed - Elise resolved a case where leaving a specific field blank when adding a payer would trigger unnecessary follow-up tickets. The culprit was a minor mismatch where two elements assumed different default values for the blank field, flagging a change that hadn’t actually occurred.
